Chalet Etoile Polaire - Location and Local Information

Chalet Etoile Polaire is in the mountain village of Les Collons in the canton of Valais. As a ski resort it links into the eastern sector of the extensive 4 Valley ski domain. The village stands at 1800/1850 metres and benefits from additional snow making facilities so skiers and boarders are guaranteed snow from December through to April. In summer it makes a great starting point for walking/hiking trails and mountain biking and the area offers several first class golf courses, thermal hot springs, wine tasting plus plenty of scenic and cultural attractions.

The chalet boasts a convenient, central location which is just a few minutes walk to the pistes and the main chairlift up to Thyon 2000. The Swiss accredited ski school can be booked in advance see www.ess-thyon.ch and the meeting place is at the top of the chairlift or accessible via the free ski bus. Lift passes can be pre-booked via the agency or bought at the chairlift station.
